Well, I’ve gone and done it.
I’m moving to Germany to work for the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, based in Tübingen. It’s a newly established research group, spun off from the local Cybernetics and Metals groups – and is literally starting from scratch. I’ll be charged with the task of helping a bunch of really really smart guys do their jobs quickly and with as much computing power on demand as they need. My mind is abuzz with ideas and stuff to do, and I can’t wait to get cracking!
I can see a bunch of chef coding in my future – will try to blog as much of it as I can as I go :)
